Video Tutorial for Crochet Scrubby Sweeper Cover

I recently posted a pattern for the crochet Scrubby Sweeper Cover. I have used this sweeper cover several times since then and it’s great! I have made several in the past that was just made out of cotton yarn, but using the scrubby cotton yarn with the cotton is a game changer!

The Scrubby Sweeper Cover crochet pattern uses 1 strand of cotton yarn and 1 strand of Scrubby cotton yarn help together. It is made with an I 5.5 mm crochet hook. The finished product measures 10″L x 5″W.

The scrubby cotton yarn is necessary because of it’s cleaning abilities! It’s not only great for scrubbing, but its great for attracting hair, dirt, dust, and more! It traps it all in between the scrubby fibers.

Use it wet OR dry! What I like to do is sweep my floors with it first. You’ll be surprised how much dirt it picks up. Then use your favorite cleaning solution and mop the floor with it. Wash and reuse over and over again!

I’ve had several questions about wondering if it will scratch hardwood floors, or other floors. Please test your floors first. The cotton mixed with the scrubby cotton makes it softer and it isn’t that abrasive. I have laminate flooring, vinyl, and tile and it works perfect.

This video may contain some distortion from my arm getting too close to the speaker, poor grammar, a cat making noise (yes, I snapped my fingers at her ?), and it may not always be centered. But I hope you can get the gist of the pattern well enough to complete yourself. This was my first full video tutorial and will work on improving quality. At least the lighting was good! ?
